Save 82% on your Magazines and Newspapers

I read TIME Magazine every week – as do a lot of other people. WIRED Magazine is also a publication I dip into monthly. But lets stick with TIME Magazine for a minute. Say I read it every week for a year. That’s 52 issues plus the two extra bonus issues that come out. So that’s 54 issues every year. The current cover price on TIME is four Euros and forty cent. And yet I pay only 92c per issue. How? Simple – I have availed of their subscription offer.

Many people are unaware of just how much they could save per year by subscribing to a Magazine. Personally, I save in excess of 500 Euro for just three magazine subscriptions compared with buying them at my local store. And, I get mine delivered to my front door to lighten up my day. No walk in the rain for me!

Personally, I think any regular magazine reader would be mad not to take out a subscription to save buckets of cash and  normally get a free present at the same time.It’s easier than ever before. The majority of it is done via the internet for most magazines these days; although they still put the old paper forms in there just in case you don’t want to use the electronic method (I think it works out even cheaper if you do).

And if you do avail of the subscription, here’s a little tip to get an extra four or five issues into the bargain: say you never got a few. You don’t even have to ring up. Just log into your account online and report it there. Then you’ll get an automated e-mail telling you they’ve lengthened your subscription by a few weeks/ months. Now obviously you can’t get selfish and report it any more than that. I’m sure that five times, each one sprinkled out throughout the year is about the maximum – otherwise they might start asking questions!
